When

Monday 5 December 2022 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm

Writer Sam Coley will lead a discussion on Ruth Coker Burks’ All the Young Men: How One Woman Risked It All To Care For The Dying.

It's the true story of a young single mother who finds herself driven to the forefront of the AIDS crisis and becoming a pivotal activist in America's fight against AIDS.

Sam Coley is a reader and writer living and working on Gadigal land. His work has been published in Meanjin, the Guardian, and Brain Drip. His debut novel, State Highway One, won the Richell Prize for Emerging Writers, was published by Hachette Australia in 2020, and is available to borrow from any good library.

Sam's favourite part of any book is talking about it afterwards, and to this end he has been hosting Gleebooks' Queer Book Club on the first Monday of every month since April 2022.
