About The Teacher

Based in Sydney, Lewis Ihnatko is a dynamic artist whose work spans painting and pottery. A 2018 graduate of the National Art School, Ihnatko has gained recognition for his unique approach, becoming a finalist and winner of notable art prizes, including the Troy Quinliven Memorial Prize. Ihnatko’s art is known for its rich, layered narratives that blend humor with emotional depth. His work often explores themes of intimacy and vulnerability, using a distinctive style to create immersive, introspective experiences. Influenced by his personal fears and the beauty he finds in the world, Ihnatko’s creations invite viewers to engage deeply with their own emotions and perceptions.
