Diverse Perspectives is excited to present five inspiring Indigenous and Migrant entrepreneurs, pitching their new ideas for social enterprises.
Join us on Friday 14 June at our Pitch for Good event, to show your support for our founders and their crowdfunding campaigns.
How 'Pitch for Good' works
Instead of giving all the decision-making power to a panel of judges, this Pitch for Good event empowers YOU as a member of the audience to select your favourite enterprises and donate the value of your ticket to their project. 100% of your ticket price goes towards social enterprises; you will receive 3 x $10 'tokens' for your favourite crowdfunding campaigns, and the remaining $10 goes towards your dinner from a social enterprise caterer.
This on-and off-line combination of campaigning for impact projects helps them overcome the greatest challenge in crowdfunding – how to get the early traction which validates their idea and carries their story far enough to succeed. Be part of supporting their success by buying a ticket and voting on the night.
About Diverse Perspectives
Diverse Perspectives is a collaborative program delivered by StartSomeGood, Catalysr and First Innovators, and supported by the City of Sydney. Diverse Perspectives is a first of its kind entrepreneurship program for a mixed cohort of Indigenous and migrant founders, the First and the newest Australians, working together to design and launch businesses that build a better Sydney. The participants have been given training to create an engaging crowdfunding campaign on StartSomeGood, to raise funds and garner support to help get their project off the ground
