Saturdays, 9am to 1pm Saturday 20 September to Saturday 27 September
Photography is both a creative and a technical art form, the two go hand in hand. Without the creative vision, the technical skills are useless, and without the practical skills, the vision is just a dream. Once you have mastered the basics of your camera functions, all beginner photographers need to be able to master the technical aspects of their camera to make their creative vision come to life.
This Photography: Technical Skills Workshop provides the practical skills to shoot a scene, subject or object with technical confidence and apply those skills to all other areas of photography.
By the end of this Technical Skills course, you should be able to:
Assess the scene, lighting, and conditions to control the final image outcome.
Apply alternative techniques for controlled exposure variations.
Integrate camera operational control with desired creative output.
Combine camera settings with creative vision to achieve striking results.
Apply acquired practical skills to improve photographic impact.
