Paul McIntyre: Shaped by the Elements

Paul McIntyre is an artist based on the Mornington Peninsula. Working in oils, his paintings express a deep gratitude for the complexity and diversity of landscapes found throughout Australia.

This collection takes inspiration from locations close to his home in Victoria and further afield in Tasmania and South Australia. Whilst the locations that have been chosen to paint are important, of equal importance is the variety of weather conditions and light levels chosen to depict. Paul is interested in how these variations create an atmosphere or mood; which is engaging, and can evoke an emotional response.
