Papunya Tula Artists: Next Generation – Legacy

Sally Nakamarra, Angelina Nungurrayi and Irene Nungurrayi are all from Kintore (Walungurru) in the Northern Territory.

Each has parents and/or grandparents who were pioneering painters with Papunya Tula Artists. Learning from them, these three women now paint their versions of ancestral stories in their own way, while drawing on the legacy of their families.
