Paddington art walk

When

Saturday 9 November 2024 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm

Cost

Member: $35Non-member: $45

We will start at Wagner Contemporary to view Chance Encounters, an exhibition of works by Min-Woo Bang and Joshua Cocking exploring the infinite nature of the sky. Bang, who will join us at the gallery on the day, crafts sublime skyscape paintings, and Cocking creates images of floating orbs above rural landscapes.

We will then journey to the Australian Galleries to view two solo exhibitions. Jennifer Keeler-Milne focuses on drawing as a medium to create floating cloud-like depictions of flora, while painter and printmaker Bruce Latimer juxtaposes collected imagery to create deceptive and uncanny landscapes.

Our next stop is Martin Browne Contemporary to see Remain in Light, Alexander McKenzie’s dramatic dreamscapes that evoke narrative through his manufactured scenes.

Finishing at Fox Jensen Gallery we will have an exclusive tour of their collection which includes artists Matthew Allen, Lawrence Carroll, Callum Innes, Robert Malherbe, Tomislav Nikolic and Aida Tomescu. Malherbe will be available to talk during our visit.
