Wednesday 24 July 2024 from 11am to 1pm
Join us for the launch of our Community Conversations with the Powerhouse series, where Powerhouse volunteers will provide a guided virtual tour of objects in the Powerhouse Collection.
After the talk, you'll have the opportunity to continue the conversation with the volunteers over morning tea.
Stay around to discover what the centre has to offer. You can try pickleball, have a tour of the centre, meet the staff, check out the library, and much more.
At July's Community Conversations with the Powerhouse, we explore the history of space travel and the technology that has made living on a space shuttle possible. Discover the role of innovation in sending humans to space and sustaining life beyond Earth.
We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs please contact Sarah Morris, Recreation Officer on 02 9298 3111 or smorris@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au.
