Needle Lace with Maggie Hensel-Brown

When
  • Saturday 29 June 2024 from 11:30am to 3:30pm
Cost

General Admission: $65

Make a lace sampler with the expert guidance of LACED artist, Maggie Hensel-Brown. Each participant will make a sampler specially designed by Maggie. All materials are provided and no prior experience or skills are necessary.

Maggie Hensel-Brown’s works respond to a long history of storytelling in needle lace. While most historical lace pieces tell grand biblical tales, or stories about royal lore, these laces illustrate quiet, contemporary moments of frustration, boredom and bliss.
