Join our City of Sydney librarian Beth online at 11am to celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime 2020.

In this fun session, our librarian Beth will read Lucinda Gifford’s Whitney and Britney Chicken Divas. Kids will love this fabulous tale about 2 gorgeous chooks who sneak out at night to perform.

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) encourages a love of reading and books. Every year a picture book by an Australian author and illustrator is read simultaneously in libraries, schools and childcare centres across the country.

This special storytime reading will be available here to watch at 11am on Wednesday 27 May.

In the lead up to the event, there are lots of great Whitney and Britney activities for you to do with your kids at home.

Make your own paper tiara, find-a-word or colour in. Colour in a poster or complete a Whitney and Britney Chicken Divas jigsaw puzzle online

NSS partner Cleverpatch has also created a free ebook full of craft activities for the event.

Watch all our other fun City of Sydney Library storytime and rhymetime online sessions.
