Celebrate the Year of the Snake with creativity and innovation at the Weekend makertime for families: Lunar New Year.

Do you want to celebrate the Lunar New Year and learn in our makerspace with your children?

Join this session to get an introduction to our 3D printers, laser cutters and robotics kits, all with a special Lunar New Year twist.

We’ll introduce you to a series of Lunar New Year-themed projects designed to develop your creative thinking skills. You could make a hand-printed Lunar New Year card, personalise and print a laser-cut or 3D-printed snake-themed decoration or take part in holiday-themed STEAM activities.

What you’ll learn

In this session, experienced facilitators will be on hand to guide you through fun Lunar New Year-themed making projects and show you the space and its equipment.
