Weekend makertime for families: Lunar New Year 8-12yrs

Celebrate the year of the horse with creativity and innovation at our Lunar New Year family makertime workshop.

We’ll introduce you to a series of Lunar New Year-themed Makerspace projects designed to develop your creative thinking skills. You could make a hand-printed Lunar New Year card, personalise and print a laser-cut or 3D-printed horse-themed decoration and take part in holiday-themed STEAM activities. 

What you’ll learn

In this session, experienced facilitators will be on hand to guide you through fun Lunar New Year-themed making projects and show you the space and its equipment. 

Details 

  • Cost: $10 per person 

  • Bookings: Limited to maximum 15 people – bookings essential 

  • Suitable for: Children aged 8-12 years and their families

  • Experience level: Beginner workshop with no required knowledge 

  • Wear: Enclosed shoes and no loose-fitting clothing or jewellery
