Enjoy over 200 acts across 12 venues, including award-winning artists and exclusive concerts celebrating some of our greatest songsmiths. Plus, food and market stalls, workshops, roving performances and an engaging program of craft, dance and art.

It’s a much loved, immersive and creative experience where people feel enriched, inspired and connected. So, whether you’re a loyal folkie or simply enjoy great live music and entertainment, join us at The Folkie.

The program, spanning the five-day event, is an extraordinary offering of music and entertainment for our loyal attendees and anyone who is looking for a fun day out with family and friends.

The 2022 festival will proudly showcase the very best homegrown talent with the calibre of artists performing never being higher. Across our festival artists we have 36 ARIA Award winners, an ARIA Hall of Fame winner AND APRA Hall of Fame winner, 12 Deadly Award winners, 5 Golden Guitar Award winners, 3 Australian Folk Award winners, a 2020 GRAMMY nominee, 5 2021 Australian Folk Award nominees and 5 2021 ARIA Award nominees.
