Memorial: International drug users day of remembrance

Where
Elizabeth Bay Rd
Elizabeth Bay NSW 2011
When

Friday 19 July 2024 from 1pm to 2pm

Cost

Free

On International Drug Users Remembrance Day, we take time to remember the people whose lives were unjustly cut short due to the criminalisation and stigmatisation of people who use drugs.

To us, they were more than a casualty; they were our family, friends, peers and loved ones.

There will be speakers, music, written messages and light refreshments provided. In case of wet weather the event will be moved to Wayside Chapel.

Everyone is welcome.

This event is organised in partnership with NSW Health, St. Vincent's Hospital, NSW Users & AIDS Association, Wayside Chapel, Kirketon Road Centre, Sydney Medically Supervised Injecting Centre and City of Sydney.
