Guy James Whitworth’s exhibitions are always a riot of loud, colorful and creative energy.
Arguably one of the most noteworthy and established Queer Artists residing in Australia, his work is both collectable and commercial, reinventing LGBTQIA+ iconography and interpreting it in a way that is poignant and relevant to a wider audience than just the Queer communities.
This exhibition explores the artist’s direct experience of living amongst the 80’s HIV and AIDS epidemic. This show will also mark the anniversary of Whitworth’s first Sydney Exhibition 25 years ago.
