Matteo Downtown x Twelve Bottles present: Tour of Italy

Join us on the first Monday of every month at Matteo Downtown as we venture through the regions of Italy. ‍

Each month our team will present to you a specially curated menu to showcase the beautiful regions of Italy, in which they grew up.  

Our first visit will be to Puglia, which is where our manager Donatello Ippolito was born and raised. He has created a menu featuring the most beautiful and well-known dishes from a place he calls home, Puglia. 

‍Puglia, once known as the “breadbasket of Italy” has ideal growing conditions, due to the sunshine and gentle cool, sea breeze. The Puglia region of Italy is slowly becoming a popular travel destination, using local and fresh ingredients in all of its dishes. 

‍Puglia is well known for its beautiful Primitivo wine, a red wine grape also known as Zinfandel. This is the third most planted grape in Puglia and is enjoyed by many whilst soaking up the breathtaking views and delectable bites. ‍
