A monthly event created to encourage people from all walks of life to try some mindful movement and experience some time on the mat.
We meet on the last Saturday of every month at Bondi Beach.
Mental health is very important to us and we would like to support the people in our lives as well as looking after our own mental health. Being part of a tribe and mindful movement with a group is part of learning new habits and meeting new people to enjoy a healthy lifestyle with. Our events always kick off around sunrise, this symbolises the start to a new day and a whole new world of possibilities.
We have chosen The Wayside Chapel as our local charity. We believe that they are providing necessary services through their programs for people living on the streets or going through a difficult time. 100% of profits are donated.
After a morning of mindful movement we head to Heart Cafe (Bondi's first social enterprise cafe) for a delicious breakfast and the best coffee in town. An opportunity for you to spent some time with new and old friends.
Your Yoga Teacher: Jourdi
Originally from Colorado, Jourdi has called Sydney home for 6 years now. Her background is in competitive gymnastics, so when she found yoga 10 years ago it was a perfect fit. Originally getting into yoga for the exercise, she quickly learned that there so was much more going on than just getting bendy on her mat. She completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2016, and has worked in the yoga/fitness industry ever since. She’s very passionate about connecting people back to their bodies through breath and movement. Jourdi believes yoga is a journey home to your true self, an act of remembering who you are. Her thought out sequences, playful energy and positive vibes are sure to leave a smile on your face after class :)
