Burrowing into buildings of bygone eras, both artists focus on details. These ceramics invite a nostalgic indulgence of details in home exteriors, interiors and décor.

There is a remembered delight of a rich visual language that these symbols, decorative elements and motifs evoke. Often used to demonstrate a sense of culture and dignity, authority or wealth, beauty and elegance or just modernity, these ceramic vessels hold and flaunt the colourful patterns and moulds as if to say “Here we are, still exquisite” after all these years!
