A joyfully inclusive fabric collage workshop led by fashion designer Gary Bigeni, with a public exhibition in June 2026.

These workshops are for autistic, neurodivergent, disabled and CALD LGBTQIA+SB young people.

There is fabric everywhere. Soft stuff. Loud stuff. Weird stuff. You can touch it. Layer it. Glue it.

You might: ✂️ Chop fabric, 🧵 Glue unlikely combinations together ,👜 Turn it into a tote, 🧥 Add flair to stuff you brought from home, Contribute a square to a giant group artwork.

You might also: 🪑 Sit quietly, 👀 Observe, Start three things and abandon all of them. All of this is correct. All of this counts.

Access information:

The venue has automatic door entry, level access, and air-conditioning. Accessible toilets are located nearby, and the space is wheelchair accessible.

We aim to create a relaxed, sensory-aware environment. Lighting is soft and not harsh, and you are welcome to move around, take breaks, or step outside at any time. There is no pressure to talk, share, or complete anything — you can participate in whatever way feels right for you. Support people are welcome to attend. If there is anything that would help you feel more comfortable, please let us know.
