About our Special Guest Speaker, Ainslie Walker
We are delighted to welcome Ainslie Walker, a perfumer, creative and fragrance journalist who lives and breathes perfumery. Designing and developing scents, blogging, hand making fragrance, curating installations and artworks and developing brands — it’s no wonder Ainslie makes claim to the title of Scentsmith.
Ainslie Walker Scentsmith is well known in both the Australian and International scent scene. She has worked with many of the world’s leading fragrance brands, perfumers, perfume houses and perfumeries in her role as writer, blogger and fragrance journalist. She has also worked as a Perfumer and Olfactive Artist for the past 10 years, working with brands such as Country Road, Disney, Lark Perfumery, Two Good Company, Aje, The Strand Arcade and Mud Australia.
Her work has been shown (and smelt) at MONA, The Powerhouse, Ngungulla, Carriageworks, Gallery of South Australia, Passage Gallery, Monash Gallery and PICA. She teaches regular workshops and works from her studio in Marrickville.
