Linocut printing intermediate: Multi colour

Explore the creative potential of layered lino printing in this Linocut Printing Intermediate: Multi Colour workshop focused on vibrant, multi-colour work.

You’ll learn how to design, carve, and print using the multi-block technique – a printmaking method that uses separate plates for each colour to achieve rich, layered compositions with precise alignment and bold visual impact.

The workshop covers essential skills for multi-colour printing, including accurate registration, clean layering, and thoughtful colour planning. There will be plenty of opportunity to refine your carving and printing techniques while producing a small edition of striking, three-colour lino prints.

This class is open to all, though prior experience with lino tools and single-colour printing is recommended.
