A Sense of Place explores the landscapes around Linden Coughlin's home environment – the rugged rocky beaches of Sydney’s East and the quiet beauty of gums within nearby parks. The colours and beauty of the landscape are a constant inspiration.

Linden is a visual arts teacher with over twenty years experience teaching in primary and secondary schools across Sydney. Linden’s own painting process informs her work in the classroom. Working with oil on canvas, she works predominately in landscape and still life.
