Leysaniya Koltai is an artist enamoured of the Universe.

Her paintings are an attempt to preserve the fleeting beauty of our world — the Universe itself: a petal, the glimmer of a butterfly’s wing, the breath of the sea.

Leysaniya holds a  Master’s Degree in Music and Art from the State Academy of Culture and Arts in Russia, where she completed her higher education in the arts. After immigrating to Australia, she expanded her academic background by earning a Statement of Attainment Certificate IV in Business Administration from TAFE.

But it is nature itself that became her greatest teacher.

She paints what evokes awe and inspiration - the very feelings she really wants to give to others.

Each of her artworks is a dialogue with the Universe, where colour, light, and feeling are most important.

Leysaniya enjoys painting and drawing in various formats, exploring different artistic approaches and changing scales.

She believes that beauty heals, and she really does her best to make her paintings bring joy, serenity, and light.
