Tuesdays to Saturdays, 11am to 6pm Saturday 7 December 2024 to Saturday 21 December 2024

Step into a transformative sensory experience with Lament 1+2, an innovative sound and video installation by composer Max Lyandvert.

Presented as part of season1: enigma, forumprojects gallery’s debut season, this exhibition invites audiences to explore the interplay between self and community, private and public, performer and spectator.

At the heart of the installation is a grid of wooden chairs, reimagined as resonating speakers. Each chair emits its own audio channel, creating an intimate yet collective soundscape. As you sit, you’ll observe others onscreen doing the same, forging a reflective connection between the physical and digital realms.

This thought-provoking work immerses viewers in a mirrored reality, challenging perceptions of identity and space. Whether you’re a lover of contemporary art or new to immersive installations, Lament 1+2 promises an unforgettable artistic experience.
