Presented over two Saturdays: the 28th March and 4th April (Easter Saturday)
SquarePeg Studios’ Kiln-Fired Liquid Enamel Workshop is perfect for anyone curious about adding vibrant colour and rich texture to metal using this exciting medium.
Unlike traditional powdered enamel, liquid enamel offers unique creative possibilities — it can be painted, dripped, layered, scratched (sgraffito), textured, ground back and combined with other materials in experimental ways. Throughout the workshop, you’ll explore and experiment with these techniques, discovering the expressive potential of liquid enamel on copper.
Across twelve immersive hours, you’ll learn, practise and refine this satisfying and versatile process, creating your own beautifully finished sample pieces.
Your tutor, Linda Blair, is a recognised exhibiting contemporary jeweller who has worked extensively with liquid enamel in her practice for many years. She brings deep technical knowledge and a generous, supportive teaching style to the studio.
No prior experience is required — this workshop is beginner-friendly and suitable for complete newcomers.
