Keyna Wilkins – Pianist/Flutist: 8:30 pm

Keyna Wilkins is a leading musician-composer who performs her own unique compositions and improvisations often with loop pedal and projections. She was one of three national finalists in the APRA/AMCOS Art Music Awards for Individual Excellence 2018 and has studied and performed around the world. In her solo shows, she explores the concept of Ad Libitum, stream-of-consciousness improvisations alongside her composed pieces, often using a loop pedal and visual projections. She has performed her solo show at MONA, Phoenix Central Park, opened the Australian Flute Festival among many others. While classically trained in UK Germany and Sydney Conservatorium, she has branched into jazz, flamenco, live theatre and has studied intuitive conceptual improvisation with Tibetan Buddhist musician Tenzin Cheogyal.

Emily Grainger – Harpist: 9:30 pm

Emily Grainger is one of Australia’s leading harpists.

“Emily is Chicago’s great loss and our great gain. Since coming here she has firmly established herself as an outstanding addition to the Australian music scene” – Sydney Arts Guide.

Growing up in Kansas City, Missouri, Emily has performed around the world including Guest Harpist with Chicago, Sydney, Tasmania, and Canberra Symphony Orchestras, at Sydney Festival, Bellingen Festival, Craven Creek Festival and has collaborated/performed with Sarah Blasko, Diesel, Renee Fleming, Yo-Yo Ma, among many others. Emily has prepared a special show for Foundry616 audience of her favourite pieces.
