Sunday 30 July from 1:30pm to 4pm
This 6-week course is a unique opportunity to work with an expert jeweller to learn introductory metal working skills for jewellery.
You’ll be guided through all the processes you need to create a pendant, bangles, brooches, rings or earrings. You’ll learn exciting new skills, including correct metal selection and how to cut, form, roller print, solder and finish metals.
As the course progresses the expert will inspire your creativity by introducing you to the work of several skilled jewellery artists.
No experience is needed to enjoy this course, which is designed for beginners.
Full instruction is provided on materials, products, tools, equipment and studio procedures.
This course takes place on Sundays over 6 weeks:
Week 1: 30 July, 1.30pm to 4pm
Week 2: 6 August, 1.30pm to 4pm
Week 3: 13 August, 1.30pm to 4pm
Week 4: 20 August, 1.30pm to 4pm
Week 5: 27 August, 1.30pm to 4pm
Week 6: 3 September, 1.30pm to 4pm
Intimate class size: maximum 8 students
Level: designed for beginner level students 16+yrs
Wear: comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes
Bring: yourself – all materials provided
