Join calligraphy instructor Xueyi Bai to progress your skills through these on going workshops, perfect for those who have already attended the beginner's workshop and are looking to learn more.

Bai will help you build confidence and fluency with the brush as you continue to develop your calligraphy practice. You will be guided through exercises which will teach you how pressure, rhythm, movement, and line weight come together to create expressive, balanced forms.

Each session will focus on one meaningful Chinese character, such as eternity, tao, serenity, or joy. You will learn key principles of balance and composition to assist you in creating your own meaningful character or short phrase. Every participant will complete a mounted rice paper artwork to take home.

Each workshop is a stand-alone class. You are welcome to book single or multiple sessions.
