Join Walmajarri artist John Prince Siddon in conversation with MCA curators Rebecca Ray and Tim Riley Walsh as they discuss his major new work for the 2026 Circular Quay Foyer Wall Commission.

Prince will reflect on the ideas, stories and cultural knowledge that have shaped his wall work. Grounded in the Narrangkarni – a First Nations worldview associated with the Kimberley region that illustrates the interconnectedness of all things – the work brings deep cultural thinking into a bold, contemporary form.

The artist will also discuss the making of the work, from its beginnings at Mangkaja Arts through to its realisation at one of Sydney's most prominent locations.

The conversation will be introduced by the MCA's Director of First Nations Art and Cultures Keith Munro, and will conclude with a Q&A.
