MCA Late

When

Fridays, 5pm to 9pm Friday 23 April to Friday 25 June

We’ll be opening our doors until the sun sets on the working week. Take your time to stroll through our incredible free exhibitions or take in spectacular views at our rooftop cafe over a drink.

From Friday 22 January, expect the unexpected each week. Wander through our galleries and you never know what you may find. No Friday will be the same – something special will be hidden within the Museum. Try your luck and you might find the evening’s guest – a musician, artist, poet or performer – who will hold intimate performances through the night. Follow us on our socials to find out more about what's in store.

Your favourite after-dark activities are moving to Fridays as well. Beats will flow with Sounds on the Terrace, our monthly live music event featuring emerging talent, or you can unleash your creativity at our always popular Sundown Sketch Club.*

If you feel inspired after your visit, the MCA Store will be open for late-night shopping.

Entry is free.

*Sundown Sketch Club is ticketed.

This initiative is part of the Summer in the City program proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with the City of Sydney. We’re working together to revitalise the city centre.

Covid-safe information
