Currently, impact investing, that is, investments that seek positive social and environmental impacts as well as a financial return, is seen as only for the wealthy. It's a world of all VCs and no angels, where to participate you need to invest via a fund or set up your own. But not anymore.

Now startups like LendForGoodWholesum and SIX are making it possible for all of us to put our money where our values are while also earning a return. Join us on Monday 13 May 6-7:30pm as we explore these emerging models and what these innovations make possible for impact investors, impact startups and the organisation that support them. For the panel discussion, we're excited to hear from:

  • Tom Dawkins, Co-founder, LendForGood

  • Tanvir Uddin, Founder & CEO, Wholesum

  • Adam Verwey, Founder & CEO, SIX (Sustainable Investment Exchange)

  • Caitlyn Touzell, General Manager, StartSomeGood (moderator)

There'll be time for audience Q&A and networking after the panel, and food and drink will be provided.

This event is part of Sydney Climate Action week; a series of community-led events from all aspects of the climate action ecosystem running from the 13-17 May 2024. This event is proudly supported by City of Sydney, Greenhouse and Boundless.
