Growing Food for Wildlife Project

When

Saturday 13 April 2024 from 10am to 12pm Saturday 11 May 2024 from 10am to 12pm Saturday 8 June 2024 from 10am to 12pm Saturday 13 July 2024 from 10am to 12pm Saturday 10 August 2024 from 10am to 12pm Saturday 14 September 2024 from 10am to 12pm Saturday 12 October 2024 from 10am to 12pm Saturday 9 November 2024 from 10am to 12pm Saturday 14 December 2024 from 10am to 12pm

Join us as we help to grow food for sick, injured and orphaned native animals in the care of local wildlife rescue groups.

These working bees are a great opportunity to learn about native gardening, local plant species, local wildlife and to have a laugh and connect with locals and wildlife rehabilitators in your area! A typical workshop and working bee could include an educational talk, weeding, watering, general maintenance of plots, planting new exciting plants, discussions about wildlife and lots of laughs. We even harvest food for the wildlife that are currently undergoing rehabilitation in your local area!.

Come gardening for wildlife with us every second Saturday of the month from 10:00am to 12:00pm and help us plant, weed, and compost under expert guidance. It is great fun and a fantastic learning opportunity for everyone involved! No experience is required!

What to bring: Bring your own gloves if you have them.
