Join us at Dendy Newtown for a special preview screening of Green Border, the thrilling film that won Special Jury Prize at Venice International Film Festival.

In the treacherous and swampy forests between Belarus and Poland, refugees from the Middle East and Africa are lured by government propaganda that promises easy passage to the European Union. Unable to cross into Europe and unable to turn back, they soon find themselves trapped in a rapidly escalating geopolitical standoff.

Nominated for the Golden Lion, it's the latest film by Academy Award-winning director Agnieszka Holland, and critics have described it as a "masterpiece", "thrilling" and "flawlessly executed".

This special screening is supported by good.film, and gives audiences the opportunity to see the film before its Australian release on November 28th.

Green Border is a masterclass in humanitarian filmmaking, and is a must-see for anyone passionate about the human right to seek asylum.
