Glebe Art Walk & Plein Air Painting

We welcome any artists who enjoy painting, drawing, or sketching ‘en plein air’ to join us on the beautiful Glebe foreshore. In addition, artists who live, work, or study within the City of Sydney or Inner West Council boundaries are able to submit their plein air works for exhibit in the annual Glebe Art Show to be held 18-22 October (entry conditions apply)

The Art Walk is a free event and you can register on the day under the fig trees down on the water at the end of Glebe Point Road. We will have volunteers on hand all day to help or mind your belongings if you duck off for a coffee etc. Bring your own art supplies, easels, and/or a chair. If you are painting you will need to bring a drop sheet to meet council requirements. Choose your location and stay for as little or as long as you like. 

This is a great opportunity for anyone taking a walk or a slow jog along the water to see artists at work. Any cancellation of the event due to bad weather will be posted at 9:30 am on Sunday on the Glebe Art Show website www.glebeartshow.org.au, the Facebook Event, Instagram and on Glebe locals FB group.
