Galentine's lunch for a good cause

Come and celebrate friendship and love with us at Welcome Merchant's second #Galentines Lunch on Saturday 17 February in Surry Hills.
This gals/women-identifying only lunch is about celebrating friendship, community and more, over a sumptuous 4-course Syrian* feast, by Racha's Syrian Kitchen, a powerhouse migrant chef.
Tickets include a welcome drink upon arrival too, with non-alcoholic options available. Vegetarians will be catered for and halal meat will be available too.
Best of all, we will be sharing the love as we're hosting a raffle draw, with amazing prizes from Where's Nick Wine Bar, Barzaari Restaurant, Goods 4 Good, One of a Kind Skincare, Arriearty, Famelia Wine Bar, Akasya Kape coffee pack and tasty treats from Smeed Maamouls. Raffle ticket sales and $5 from each ticket sold will be donated to AusRelief's fundraiser for newly-arrived widows and orphans arriving in Australia. They have only been granted tourist visas for immediate resettlement. Regrettably, this also means that the group will not receive other government support, such as Medicare or welfare. Therefore, it falls upon us to provide the essentials for a smooth transition: bedding, medical needs, psychological support, food, accommodation, clothing and more.
