Thursday 5 September 2024 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Want to be part of future change but not sure how to go about it? Come along to learn about ways to influence community life, and how government decisions impact you.
Join our panel of young change makers as we cover everything from voting and signing petitions to joining boycotts or talking to your MP.
Our speakers will explore the intersection of democracy and young Australians, focusing on reshaping community involvement for Gen Z.
As our own local government elections approach, it’s so important that young people feel informed to participate in decision making activities, confident to share spaces which they’ve historically been excluded from.
