Are you ready to take your passion for the arts to the next level? Part of the Islamophobia: Not a Vibe campaign, the Art of Storytelling program is an opportunity for Muslim youth to create, perform, and connect!

Through a series of storytelling workshops in theatre, poetry, acting, film and social media, you’ll develop your skills and explore new creative avenues. You'll also explore how the performing arts can be an effective tool to help counter Islamophobia. Alongside these workshops, you’ll get to build community bonds with fellow participants and have a chance to share your stories, while enjoying delicious food during the two days - and all free!

Then, you'll get the opportunity to be matched with a mentor in your chosen field who will support you as you craft a performance piece, and will also guide you in your career development.

By the end of the program, you'll receive a certificate and the exciting opportunity to be considered to perform at the Bryan Brown Theatre for UN Human Rights Day!

The program includes the following workshops:

If you’re ready to make your voice heard, build new skills, and be part of an inspiring community.

The Art of Storytelling is brought to you as part of the Islamophobia: Not a Vibe campaign and in partnership with Spaghettifish Productions and Our Race Community.
