Open Studio practice for teens

This open studio program supports teens to work independently in their chosen medium while developing their own ideas at their own pace. Students are encouraged to explore personal projects, experiment freely and take creative risks, with technical guidance available when needed.
This course is perfect for those in high school or looking to explore art further before they begin their major works in senior school. Sessions take place in a professional studio environment with access to a wide range of materials, creating space for innovation, curiosity and hands-on exploration. The atmosphere is relaxed yet focused, allowing students to build confidence and artistic independence.
The program is enriched by occasional specialist guest artists from other disciplines, alongside short theory talks by Jen covering everything from the masters to international contemporary art, with a strong focus on current local exhibitions.
This 9 week course runs from 5:30pm - 7pm each Tuesday afternoon.
