Join us for a special one-night-only event celebrating the work of renowned Sydney-based artist, sculptor, and furniture maker, Stuart Cook. Held in the expansive warehouse space of the John Fisher Printing Business, this exhibition marks the end of an era, as Stuart prepares to close the doors to his studio after nearly a decade in the iconic building.

The Fifty Plus Exhibition will showcase a diverse and captivating body of work that includes paintings, handmade timber furniture, and sculptures. Known for his ability to find beauty and whimsy in the everyday, Stuart’s creations reflect his unique vision – transforming ordinary materials into extraordinary art. Whether he’s working with recycled timber or embracing the imperfections of used furniture, each piece in this exhibition is a one-of-a-kind blend of functionality and artistry.

Stuart Cook is an award-winning artist whose works have garnered respect and admiration throughout the Sydney art community. His pieces are not only visually stunning but are also deeply rooted in his appreciation for the stories and histories found in reclaimed materials. His attention to detail and masterful craftsmanship ensure that every piece, from a painting to a sculptural furniture item, is both functional and a work of art.

Don’t miss your chance to view Stuart’s stunning creations up close and take part in a celebration of his incredible career. The Fifty Plus Exhibition will be held on 26 April 2025, from 4pm, at the John Fisher Printing Business in Marrickville warehouse.
