Hear and sing the complete Orlando Gibbons melodies as published in George Wither’s 1623 Hymnes and Songs of the Church, with new realizations and original settings by Pitts & L’Estrange, as recorded by Tonus Peregrinus for Naxos on Hymns and Songs of the Church – the root and some recent branches of a very English hymn tradition.

2pm – workshop – lecture | 5pm – sacred recital (with audience participation)
