Cyber attacks can be devastating. Do you know how to be protected?

Recent high-profile cyber attacks have brought new attention to the importance of online security. We have locks on our front doors, but some of our most valuable assets, from personal data to our savings, are stored on our computers and cloud systems. Why don’t we have the same protections in place for things we can’t see?

Martin, who learnt how to code and hack when he was 14, introduces us to cyber security. He explains how cyber attacks happen and the various big ways they can impact our lives. You’ll leave with 3 things you can do now to keep your data safe.

Bio

Martin Boyd is an ethical hacker and the CEO of Vertex Cyber Security. For a decade, he was the executive manager of cyber security at CommBank and lectured at Macquarie University.

Martin performs protection tests on clients across small business, government and Top 50 ASX companies, to find the gaps real hackers can target.
