Saturday 28 September from 10am to 4pm
Watercolour is an incredibly therapeutic medium, and because of its flowing nature, it lends itself to a sense of calmness and relaxation. It can be a little tricky to master as it requires a delicate balance of learning how to control the medium at times and learning to let it do its own thing at others (we will all be repeating the phrase "no such thing as mistakes, only happy accidents"). Throughout this class, we will explore various techniques such as painting wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry applications. We will learn about selecting harmonious colours and layering them to create soft, dreamy images.
About the Teacher

Her awards include finalist spots in the 2023 Ravenswood Art Prize and the Small Works Art Prize.
