DDD – Disco Day Dancing

Our DJ, Dolly, has 1000s of tunes and takes requests. Dust off those leg warmers and neon outfits because we’re throwing it back with the best tunes of the era!! And this one also has a Christmas theme – come along with your best Xmas bling...

So grab your friends, put on those dancing shoes, and get ready to boogie… then you can go on or go home… Don’t wait until late!

We start earlier than other events around town. In fact we are unique in that our venue begins earlier than most things in the Cross – and we can also go late in this great venue (it does not close until 2am)! 

Members of the DDD team wanted to find a way to go dancing without having to wait until late. So the DDD was formed: Disco Day Dancing 

Looking on the internet, others had the same idea (in the UK in particular) – let’s have fun and dance in the day/early evening, not have a long wait to get started! Events started there and filled up! So we started the DDD events.

We have run 5 great events in the Kings Cross Sydney city area, and this is our 7th. “Old school” we did not go on “socials” but we are learning! Our base mainly initially by word-of-mouth is growing, and now hopefully from our limited socials as well. 

But it’s taking off everywhere. The ABC recently profiled a similar series of events in QLD – Fortitude Valley – but we were first.
