Ever wondered why dance was such a crucial part of convict life? What kind of dances did they perform, and what did they wear? Find out at The Rocks Discovery Museum these school holidays.
Step back in time and dress up like a convict, immersing yourself in the sights, sounds and movements of the past. The interactive dance session will transport you to a bygone era, where you'll experience the joy of dancing like the convicts did.
Suitable for children aged 5-12, this program promises to be a fun-filled adventure for the whole family. Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Register at the Museum reception, or call ahead to book your spot. The cost is free, although we gratefully accept gold coin donations. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to learn about Australia's fascinating history through the art of dance!
