Spring school holidays at the Maritime Museum

Adventure awaits at the Maritime Museum this spring with a packed program of exhibitions, vessels, themed creative activities and hands-on workshops. 

Experience life on board a historical ship, navy vessel and submarine, and be inspired by the wonders of marvellous sea creatures and the cultural stories of saltwater through play, science and art.

See our latest exhibitions, Wildlife Photographer of the Year, featuring over 100 captivating images of animals and nature, and Mäṉa and Bäru, the Sea Country of Guykuda Munungurr.

Get art and crafty at the Kids on Deck activity space, tour the galleries with under 5s Mini Mariners, venture on a Sea Country activity trail and enjoy storytelling and weaving workshops in the museum’s new Bamal Gallery.

8-14-year-olds will love to get hands-on and creative at the one-day Young Inventors engineering workshop or the two-day Rock The Boat music video workshop.
