Thursday 26 June from 9:30am to 4pm
Connect Sydney is hosting Twenty10's PRISM LGBTIQA+ Inclusivity workshop.
This full day face to face workshop is designed to help organisations build capacity in working affirmatively with LGBTIQA+ people.
The PRISM training helps you grow your knowledge of LGBTIQA+ experiences and language, and better understand health and wellbeing in our communities. It also builds your confidence in ensuring LGBTIQA+ people to feel safe, affirmed and supported in your organisation.
Limit of two people per organisation.
This workshop is part of the City of Sydney's Connect Sydney program, funded by the Department of Communities and Justice. The program aims to build the capacity of community and not-for-profit organisations through the provision of free skills and governance training for organisations that support and provide services to children, young people, families and communities experiencing or at risk of vulnerability within the City of Sydney local government area.
We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible training sessions. If you have any particular access or communication needs please contact Vicky Skarlatos, social programs officer on 02 9265 9333 or vskarlatos@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au.
