CONGRATULATIONS! You’ve beat depression!

Now you get… non-depression? Wait, there’s no reward?

In this show Gabrielle Dadgostar studies the aftermath of what happens when she and her greatest ally (herself) team up and actually win the battle against her worst opponent (herself).

She’s won many battles but not the war. The war is won but the battles aren’t over. The war is won but the castle still needs to be guarded. You can win the war but the battles still need to be battled. This is war! And I won, but the battle isn’t over. This battle is won. Winners win.

Congratulations! is a show developed as part of the ITS Coming Up Incubator, in which Improv Theatre Sydney gives an emerging improviser, theatremaker or comedian the time and space to create a new show incorporating improvisation in some way.
