Advanced 8 Week Burlesque Course

Welcome back to the shimmery world of Burlyflexx! This advanced 8-week neo-burlesque program is designed exclusively for those who have already completed and mastered the original Burlyflexx course.

Perfect for those ready to elevate their artistry and learn advanced burlesque techniques, this program is led by the mesmerising Lou P Scarlett. This course is designed to expand on everything you’ve learned so far - your bump, grind, shimmy, and strut - before refining it with a focus on choreographic precision, group synchronicity and performance excellence.

Expect to push your boundaries and sharpen your skills as a confident and commanding burlesque performer. You’ll learn to work with iconic burlesque props like boas and feather fans, explore advanced musicality, audience interaction and dynamic ensemble choreography.

The course culminates in a group performance at One Playground and is best suited for confident dancers who are quick to pick up choreography and ready to shine in a group setting. Following this, there is an optional external performance at The Vanguard Newtown, so you can take centre stage and show off everything you've learned! If you’ve mastered the foundations and are hungry for more, it’s time to take your burlesque to the next level.

Your 8 week program will include:

Nipple tassels, gloves and 1x costume piece (this will be presented through the duration of the course)

What You Need To Provide:

Undergarments (bra, underwear, stockings) + heels
