Join researchers, educators and climate action advocates young and old, to explore innovations in climate change education that can strengthen community engagement and agency. Hear four diverse case studies from existing education systems and informal learning environments that address obstacles to tackle climate impacts, and unpack levers for advocacy and action through a lively Q&A session.

Case studies include:

  • Making Art in a Warming World – Presented by Dr Tania Leimbach, UNSW, and Brooke Thompson, Sydney Distance Education HS

  • Power to the Future – Intergenerational Climate Dialogues – Presented by Alejandra Torres, Waverley Council

  • Where Mental Health and Education Collide  Case study from North Sydney Girls High School – Presented by Monique Potts, University of Technology Sydney

  • Climate Fresk – Building Global Climate Literacy – Presented by Laure Legros, Work for Climate

  • Australian Parents for Climate Action – with Nic Seeton, CEO
