Discover your BaZi in the Lunar New Year Augmented Reality Mirror, a celebratory experience inspired by luck and possibility for the year ahead. Visit South Eveleigh anytime between 16 February - 22 February to engage in the digital experience, with screens located at Innovation Plaza, Locomotive Street and the Village Green.
Sharpen your strategy and enjoy a friendly game of Mahjong! Play with a friend or learn from an expert instructor who will share the rich traditions and techniques behind every move. Workshops will be running Thursday, 19 February, 11 AM – 2 PM and Saturday, 21 February, 10 AM – 1 PM at Shop 1, Locomotive Street.
Watch as auspicious green lettuces are hung, then devoured and spat out by the Lions, showering luck and fortune upon South Eveleigh's businesses. Join the crowd and follow the 'Plucking of the Greens' ceremony along Locomotive Street on Wednesday, 18 February from 11:30am as the lions bless South Eveleigh's tenants and retailers and wish our community luck and prosperity in the Year of the Snake.
The famous lion dance troupe, Jin Wu Koon will return to South Eveleigh for the jaw-dropping Lion Dance on Poles performance on Saturday, 21 February from 1pm at Innovation Plaza. Be spectacled by the majestic lion symbolising power, wisdom, and superiority, as they leap and dance in towering heights. The accompanying thundering drums not only entertain but also dispel any lurking bad omens, making way for a year filled with golden opportunities.
