Every Saturday throughout August, join Red Room Poetry’s inaugural Poets in Residence at Green Square Library.

Deep dive into your vision, thoughts and passions.

Curated workshops hosted by Dan Hogan and Mohammad Awad will focus on climate change, public art and mental health.

Learn to share your unique poetic voice and pick up some tips from our poets.

12pm to 1pm: Blackout Poetry workshop with Dan (Ages 8 - 12)

In this workshop with award-winning poet Dan Hogan, participants will generate poems from pre-existing texts. Ideal for budding poets and reluctant or nervous writers! For ages 8-12.

2pm to 3pm: Express Yourself workshop with Mohammad (Ages 12-18)

A focus on learning and expanding poetry writing skills, while increasing mental health well being and consciousness through expressive models of poetry therapy.
